There is sleep and in (drunken) sleep dreams (nightmares).

In the first, she's running down corridor after corridor in the castle. The boot steps are following her. Right behind her. No matter how fast she runs. A hand catches in her hair.

She wakes screaming and only just managed to make the bathroom before the alcohol came up.
In the second, the rookery is abandoned and the green is being sapped from the land. Her father isn't there. She lives in Locksley, as Gisborne's wife, the mother of his children. Four of them. The little girl with the raven black curls and deep gray blues eyes is the most adorable, playing tea party while the boys spar with wooden swords. She tries to talk. She tries to yell. She's screaming at the top of her lungs. But her voice is gone.

She wakes next to the toilet, finds the water, and pours herself back into the bed in the sunlight.
In the third, (not) Robin is at her window, crowing that she is the girl everyone laughingly called her for years. Worthless and abandonable, if she could dane to marry Gisborne. She tried to explain, about protecting herself and her father. He says it would have been nobler to just be arrested. He'd given up his home for his people. She was just a spoiled girl who wasn't willing to sacrifice.

She can't remember when he came in from the window, but she remembers him pushing her out it.

She wakes gasping, the blankets in a tangle around her feet, and cries herself back to sleep in the dark.
