Marian sat down at the bar where an assortment of papers and pens arrived very quickly from bar. She missed the hint of the mirror that arrived with it, thinking Bar had somehow mistaken her request for things to write in search of the new epidemic. She wrote rather quickly, but still clearly, and once she was done she walked over and attached it securely in the center of the notice board.
After that Marian went back to the bar and wrote three letters. All were signed, sealed and vanished with no fanfare.
To All Security Personnel,
During my shift this evening I was charged with hearing the most disturbing tale. One Rapunzel, and then her promised, Alexander Knox, both explained to me of a terrible epidemic that has begun to ravage Milliways Bar silently.
For this case, Rapunzel started with explaining Mr. Knox was effected by the presence of one Duela Dent. In his presence he was made to remember memories about himself and the person in question which had never taken place. Her life was couched with many details of his, made to seem familiar and unquestionably real while he was with her. This was shown false by his trying to prove her existence in his own world and coming up with the proof that only was it all untrue, but also that such a person did not exist at all.
After an interview with Mr. Knox he agreed with Rapunzel's story and offered even more details. This being who is effecting people's mind is always perfect and always appears as a woman. She has been known to always effect those in her presence to remember her fondly, and has been known to change the sexual proclivities of one unnamed person. She's, also, gone by the names Opal Winston and an unknown first name Wells.
Mr. Knox has suggested that we might interview one Ray Stanz and Sarge Wells about further details, but did add to this that he is sure he is not the only to experience this phenomenon. I have placed a notice on the message board in hopes of gathering letter responses about this situation both from people who have regained their sense and of those who are still suffering. I have asked the Bar to redirect all responses from the notice to the Security Office so we can clear up this matter as quickly as possible.
